CAJOMIR FIRST FLUSH – celebration of first spring harvest

Cajomir FF was established in 2014 in cooperation with National Museum, Naprstek Museum of Asian, African and American cultures. Spring time is the time for every tea lover, when after long winter first harvest of fresh tea leaves is collected. The taste of this kind of tea is somehow special and unrepeatable during the year. Celebrate the spring with us and a cup of tea in the historical Prague centre.

CAJOMIR CELEBRATES SPRING HARVEST ON JUNE 20TH 2020

The first spring harvest celebrations "CAJOMIR FIRST FLUSH" will take place on Sunday, June 20th 2020 at Smíchovská náplavka.

All high-quality tea lovers know that they can only experience this exceptional taste from very fresh tea leaves, that were collected and processed maximum 4 months ago. Tea leave ages very quickly, it keeps on oxidizing and changes the taste as well as chemical structure.

We have in the Czech Republic a chance to taste the freshest leaves which are produced in traditional tea countries such as China, Japan, Korea, India, Ceylon, Kenya.

Come and taste.

THE BIGGEST MARKET OF FRESH TEA IMPORTERS 2020

One of the main parts of the program are selling presentations of top tea and nontea importers to the Czech Republic, many represented by the company owners. Also this year will be all Cajomir FF visitors able to buy high quality fresh tea 2020.

LOTS OF AUTHOR MADE TEA CERAMICS

While celebrating first fresh harvests, local tea ceramics producers cannot be missing. Visitors will enjoy wide choice of high standard quality ceramics burnt on fire. Dishes created specially for loose tea preparation and herbs. We believe that you will not resist and you will find your favourite pot or bowl in the huge amount of colours and shapes.

FRESH TEA 2020, DO YOU KNOW IT?

I haven't come across any studies yet that would evaluate the amount of substance in fresh or archive leaf. Fresh means a tea leaf that is drank within 3 month after harvest. You can just have a cup of tea in spring harvested this year and you will find flavour that disappears quite fast. Taste it and you will feel yourself how the spring from different parts of Asia tastes.
